The problem with modern media is they do not have a sense of social justice. Do you agree?

yes, i agree to a certain extent that the problem with modern media is they do not have a sense of social justice. in todays society almost every organisation is motivated by material gains, and the media is definitely no exception. in fact the media is one of the most easily motivated, the general public's thirst for juicy gossip and news including vices and other bad influences is one large factor. it is a question of supply and demand, more people are interested in a particular kind of news the more the media would produce it no matter at what cost to earn lucrative profits, even at the expense of not having any social justice.

however in some areas and countries the media does have a sense off moral justice. for example in singapore tv stations show advertisements that are socially benefitable like promoting family togetherness.even though it might be orders from the government but still it benefits society.

Censorship can never ben justified. Do you agree?

no! i do not agree that censorship can never be justified.i beleive censorship is justifiable. in fact censorship is very important to protect the society from various dangers that the world may bring.this includes pornography , excessive violence, vulgarities and many other mature themes, etc...

if there were no censorship in the world children of any age can easily be exposed to mature themes that they should not be. this may have an effect on them in the future. they may learn from what they see and may follow what they see. they still do not have the maturity to comprehend and understand what they see and would anyhow apply it.

there would be chaos in the world as wellif there was no censorship.for example people would be saying anything they wanted, offending countless people all over the world. for example the cartoon of prohet mohammed caused a furore all over the world. if there was more sensitivity towards the religion, and the cartoon not be shown non of this problems would have arrised

Gun control is not the answer.

yes! i beleive gun control is not the answer. on 16 april 2007 the world was shocked by news of a mass killing in virginia tech University, USA. 33 students were killed including the killer himself, Cho Seung Hui who is a korean studying in america.

firstly i feel it is very tragic that 33 young promising teenagers had to die just like that. it is just cruel and inhuman to gun people down as if you would an animal, no matter what they did wrong.Apparently Cho felt that the people had discriminated against him and wanted to get back at them. however those who bore the brunt of his vegence were innocent students.

lastly i feel that guns shld not be so easily available. immature and irrational people may abuse the use of guns as shown over all the years where people have been shooting other people for fun, the debate over has gun control was magnified because of the mgnitude of the shooting
